This area is in jeopardy of being erased forever...
At one time this was the only black powder mill in America, but it was also home to deadly accidents with the most recent one in 1997. After closing, nature reclaimed and I visited here in 2017 to document the site.

There's been talks as of recent to build a massive warehouse facility and if that does indeed happen, the entire site will be erased, including the history. So in order to help preserve this history, I was determined to return sooner than later to fully explore and document the acres upon acres of this former powder mill. Little did I know that I missed several items when I explored it 7yrs ago, but today we found more then I even knew existed.
