Ocarina of Time Review - A Link to the Past But in 3D... And Worse

Knew this was going to be a long one. And this is after I cut out a lot of stuff. Not really surprising I'd have so much to say about this game. It's Ocarina of Time after all.

And I certainly wasn't expecting to come out of this game with such a negative opinion of it. But here we are. This is why I like revisiting things I enjoyed as a child to see if they were actually good, or if I was just a dumb kid that didn't know any better. In this case, still a good game. But it's not the game I thought it was.

Here's some extra bits I decided to leave out of the video.

Navi being annoying is something that has never made sense to me. You can easily ignore her and she shuts up after that. Are people just that bothered by her notifications that they have to answer them? Whenever she has something to say, I just don't hit the button and there's no problems.

You may have noticed I wear the Goron tunic for most of the game. There's no reason not to. The Zora tunic doesn't do much. In fact, you don't even need it for the Water Temple. Meanwhile the Goron tunic not only protects from fire areas, it reduces fire damage and for some reason makes you immune to spikes. No idea why it does that, but it does.

I find it weird that you can get the Biggoron Sword immediately upon becoming an adult. You hardly have to even use the Master Sword if you want. And while there is the tradeoff of not being able to block with it, that really doesn't matter because the combat is bad.
