2: if one completes the work, and the other doesn't, whoever completes the work wins.

3: if both complete the work, then whoever cast "The End of Everything" afterward wins

4: if both complete the work, and cast "The End of Everything" ties are broken by orbs collected at the time of confronting the boss [or foes defeated, if somehow that is a tie too]
