Two years ago I started with a small colony of guppy in low tech no filter pond. I had it up and running ever since and the guppies have reproduced a lot since then. I wanted to put them in something larger that followed the same principals, but this time in an aquarium. At the end of the day, low tech setups such as this become an ecosystem that more or less sustain themselves.
