Just before 6am, an owl strikes Gabby on the back of her neck! She hangs on to the branch and flaps her wings in defense of the attack. The owl flew off and Gabby is okay! She will drop to the nest and lay down and make cooing sounds which Beau responds too by dropping down to the nest too and standing next to her.

Beau does some digging of the nesting material as Gabby softly is cooing at him. Beau being the ever so thoughtful mate will place the pine branch across her back (this is the one he brought in yesterday) ♥ Bless his heart! He is always trying to comfort & please her. Gabby will get up and go to sunset branch and begin her day. Thank you for watching!
