Anurag Sangwan, 17, who topped the UPSC National Defence Academy Examination 2022, belongs to Chandeni in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri, referred to as the 'soldiers' village' for having the distinction of sending the highest number of soldiers into the armed forces.

"I was expecting to be selected, but not got AIR1 rank."
Anurag, who completed 10+2 from Blue Bells school, Gurugram, said it was his dream to don the olive green. It was his first attempt and he secured more than 550+ .
