Given that the actress has won an Oscar for her outstanding performance in Black Swan and also has a host of Golden Globes to her name, it would be hard for anyone to agree with this selfdepreciating summary – and yet Portman’s quest for fresh, challenging roles has arguably made her the success she is today.
