Today I'll go over some of the basic rules of thumb that will help you decide where to place your desk and monitors in your home studio. I came up with 4 or 5 points, but I'm always willing to hear more things that will make the biggest impact to our ability to hear our mixes accurately.
I left out acoustic treatment for the purposes of this conversation, but do note that it will be a MUST for your studio if you plan to listen and mix on monitors.
