Christopher Kerr, MD, PhD, is CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Hospice of Buffalo. This has offered him a closeup view of endoflife, and he has spent decades researching the meaningful dreams and visions that bring comfort as death nears.

His book, Death Is But a Dream, is an important contribution to our understanding of medicine's and humanity's greatest mystery. His work was the focus of an acclaimed documentary shown on PBS stations across the U.S. in April 2021.
