As a longtime champion of family planning and with a belief that all lives have equal value, in her new book, The Moment of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World, Gates shares the stories of everyday women doing extraordinary things to change their communities, from “turbocharged” largescale efforts to simple fixes anyone can do.
