2017 MCI D4500CT bus 17233 leased from NJ Transit. This run makes 5 pickups in Morris County NJ, crosses into NYC via the Lincoln Tunnel, and makes dropoffs along 7th Avenue, Varick Street, and Broadway, all the way to the southern tip of Manhattan. Recent increases in ridership prompted dispatch to split the 5 pickups across 2 buses, and today I drove the Parsippany half.

Today traffic on NJ3 was disrupted by an accident, so we were rerouted via I80 to the NJ Turnpike (the "high road"). There was a truck that had gone off the roadway and caught fire; I do not have any further information.
