A sixmonthold captiveborn tiger cub, Georgie, was a performer in a traveling circus. The cub was fed chicken meat mixed with bones. One of the bones cut into his delicate palate, causing sepsis. The infection destroyed the muscles of his cheek and reached his chin.
The tiger cub was on the verge of death when Karan Dalakyan, a talented wildlife surgeon, took over his case. Within six months, he had the predator back on its feet. And the cub is so attached to him that he thinks the vet is his mother. And even after a decade, Georgie still recognizes his scent from afar and greets him like his MOM.
