I have made a LIGHT braided cuff bracelet in my workshop.
I had some old electrical wiring that I stripped so I had the pure copper wires. I used 5 wires 1 of 60cm and 4 of 80cm and started braiding it together.
After the braiding, I hammered the cuff bracelet into shape and straightened it because it was twisted. In my workshop I also had a piece of old copper pipe that I scratched grooves into and cut off 1 for each end of the bracelet.
After I soldered 2 small copper plates on the ends and soldered the ends to the bracelet, I put it in sulfuric acid (24%) to remove the impurities from the soldering.
In the meantime, I found an old piece of copper plate from which I sawed a pendant, shaped like a razor blade. I sanded and polished it and afterwards I had a nice necklace made from recycled copper.
Now the bracelet was cleaned in the sulfuric acid and I could polish and polish this as well at the end.
I was very pleased with the result both a necklace and a bracelet all made from recycled copper from my workshop.
