GOFFSTOWN 23 April 2016: For the past few years, Maddie Carlson of Goffstown, presently a Junior at Goffstown High School has been fighting cancer. Maddie has been surrounded by friends and family keeping her strong in her battle to overcome her medical condition.

In September of last year, the Goffstown Police Department made an unroutine vehicle stop while Maddie's mother was driving through Pinardville. Maddie is suffering from rare bone cancer and this was part of a stunt to give her a $250 check to help with her treatment. You may watch the video here    • Video

On 28 September 2015, friends gathered in Manchester for a fundraiser to help the family with financial cost toward Maddie's medical needs. Watch the video here    • MADDIE28SEP2015  .

Today, Recycled Percussion made the trip from New York to Maddie's home in Goffstown for the sole purpose of performing for Maddie's friends and family. The fun started around 6pm and YES, Maddie was quite surprised and very appreciative.
Maddie Carlson, 16, diagnosed with rare cancer Ewing's sarcoma in May.

Today, Maddie is receiving Chemotherapy treatments every three weeks and her most recent scans were clear. Maddie is currently in her Junior year at Goffstown High School.

Recycled Percussion tells Goffstown Today that they are truly glad to come to Madie's home today and;
"Some would say we are an inspiration, truth is Madeline is the real inspiration, she demonstrates true joy for living, and the ability to make those around her stronger. It was an honor to perform for her today"!

Filmed by GoffstownToday.com, Ivan Beliveu, camera on location. Edited and produced by Bill Wynne, publisher, www.GoffstownToday.com.

Many thanks to Maddie's family and the members of Recycled Percussion for making this story and film production possible
