M15 loves the time he gets to incubate and feed his little one! He gets another opportunity in the afternoon when F23 was taking a break. He gives E23 a nice feeding of rabbit and while he is still feeding, F23 flies in and lands on the attic mantling and screaming. She makes a good female Dracula with that same look that E21 & E22 had last year! F23 sees M15 next to the food and it appears her instincts to protect her food was causing her to mantle and give off warning vocals as she looked down at M15 next to the rabbit prey. She drops down to the nest screaming and mantles again. M15 immediately offers her a bite of food but she was not impressed. She seemed to want M15 to leave or at least step away from the rabbit which of course is her prey. M15 wastes no time and quickly exits and flies to the pond and he takes a long soaking & splashing bath. M15 had one of the calgon take me away moments as he soaked, dunked and splashed in the water.

M15 went up the bank and then flew to the DSPS to dry his wings. While he was feeding E23 they both did get a bit messy so he really cleaned up well. F23 is still in guarding her food mindset and may continue to be for some time. Thank you for watching!
