An experimental android navigates the birth of consciousness and its relationship to humanity.

Originally created for RunwayML's Gen:48 Film Festival, over the course of 37.5 hours.

Creation Process: RunwayML's Gen2 was used to extend, evolve, provide motion elements, and add camera movements to several different static images (including both AIgenerated and humandesigned). Artificial Intelligence was the foundational topic of the story's thematic exploration of existentialism, consciousness, parenthood, control, and coexistence. AIgenerated voice was used for the vocals of the alarm system during the final scene, while the two main voices are performed by professional actors to strengthen the thematic exploration of humanity's coexistence with AI technology. Entire film was upscaled to 4K quality using AI videoupgrade software.
