I've decided to do a daily update on what life is like as a 27 year old Scottish person during the Covid19/Coronavirus/SarsCov2 pandemic. I'm an archaeology student so I think making a permanent record of what I think will be an important historical period seems important.
This whole video is sortof a stream of consciousness but I said something in the video about ebola and I've since done more research and realised that actually 11,000 people died during the ebola epidemic which is twice the amount of covid 19 fatalities so as it stands that was actually much worse. I think ebola didnt get as much panic or attention from the media mostly because of ignorance and racism. (anyway sorry i got it wrong in the video this is due to my own ignorance)
If I got anything else wrong please let me know! I'm basically only going by what the news is telling me at this point.
