For more than a decade, a lion, a bear and a tiger have lived together at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Georgia. The story began in 2001 when police found three exotic cubs, none more than a year old. The animals were kept in horrific conditions. All 3 cubs were malnourished, infested with parasites, and kept in tiny cages where they couldn't even stand.
The bear and tiger were named after characters from The Jungle Book Baloo and Shere Khan. The lion was simply called Leo. The rescued cubs were taken to the Noah's Ark sanctuary.
The cubs were so afraid of humans that the staff decided to keep them together for a few days to calm them down. When the staff tried to separate them, they were so anxious that they decided to keep them together permanently. Thus began the incredible friendship between these 3 beautiful creatures!
