Kia EV3 – New Zealand first drive u0026 review

Ecotricity NZ

This EV3 is newest addition to Kia's allelectric offerings in the kiwi car market, and it's quite a striking vehicle with bold, forthright lines & angles. One big positive to those angles however is they result in large windows, allowing for good driver visibility (and plenty of light in the cabin).

Overally, Gav found it an intelligentlydesigned, pleasant vehicle to drive. A car for both novices and nerds alike, as it has all the gadgets one could want (it's got a 230v home power outlet in the back!), but if you're not a tech fan, then the EV3 also works just like a regular car.

At first glance, it's hasslefree electric motoring with no learning required something that can't always be said for electric cars. With the EV3, you just get in and drive – but if you love playing with motor settings, ambience modes and maps, they're right there on the large display.

As for motor power, acceleration, cornering and charging speed, be sure to press "Play" to find out and while you're at it, hit the Subscribe button too!

And if you're keen on cutting your carbon footprint, come and join us at Ecotricity, which is now New Zealand's only climate positive electricity provider! That means by switching today, you're actually turning back the clock on Climate Change, while saving money in the process.

Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it's not! Ecotricity is real, with really affordable electricity, thanks to it being purely renewable.
