New Ohio State assistant coach Katie Smith, who has always considered Columbus to be her home even when she was playing and coaching in the WNBA, says she’s excited to be back with the Buckeyes and that she made the decision to leave the WNBA for Ohio State so that she could spend more time with her family and give back to her alma mater.

“I'm a Buckeye through and through with everything I do,” Smith said.
