Jackie is sleeping when she suddenly is startled awake and wing slaps at Fiona scurrying from the nest ♥ Jackie goes back to sleep and then wakes up and does some sleep chortles. ♫ ♫ Love the music she makes! In the morning, Shadow arrives to the nest with a stick and Jackie gets up to take her first break of the day and enjoy the beautiful sunrise in Big Bear.
Shadow incubates the eggs and gets up to reposition himself and to give them a roll a few times during his two hour and 21 minute incubation shift! No pip is seen on any of the three eggs.
FOBBV has confirmed that egg #1 is not viable any longer. Today egg #2 is 41 days old & the window is closing fast on it hatching. Egg #3 is 38 days old and has a few more days left to hatch. Regardless of the viability of the eggs, Jackie and Shadow have remained dedicated and committed parents and are doing everything in their power to hatch these eggs! Thank you for watching!
