My last video, which compared the "How to be a YouTuber"/content creator advice videos genre of videos on YouTube to a pyramid scheme, got more attention than all of my art videos combined. I feel like I'm not supposed to be trying to make art videos. But why is YouTube pushing me to make videos like this video essay? Why can’t I make the art and design videos that I want to make, instead of trying to think about what you want from me? It’s not MeTube, It’s YouTube.
