On 30 October 2024, after presenting to the findings of their latest report to the UN General Assembly, the United Nations Independent Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel, held a press conference at UN headquarters in New York.

The Commission was established by the UN Human Rights Council in 2021.
