Funeral rites for Iran's president and seven others who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday have begun.

Thousands of people have taken to the streets to mourn President Raisi.

The first ceremony is taking place in Tabriz in the country's northwest, the region where the crash happened.

But not everyone supported him and many Iranians celebrated his death on social media.
