Our male green iguana approximately 5yo.
His aggression is about as low as I expect it to get.
This video is just showing some current interaction.
Might be a bit boring unless you are reptile nerd like myself
He is a bit twitchy about me touching his dogbed in the window. That is definitely his property
I'm wearing a hockey helmet because of his previous aggression towards me.
Also, as long as I'm wearing it, he keeps calm. If I take it off, he wants to fight me again! ♀
** GREEN IGUANAS ARE NOT GOOD PETS**
They require enormous amount of space, food and time. Heat, lights humidity cost a fortune.
When they reach sexual maturity at about 2 years old. They can get very aggressive and dangerous.
They can bite a finger off an adult person and disfigure you, your kids or your pets for life.
Always do extensive research before getting any pet. And if you can, adopt/rehome an animal in need of a home.
