Insane after dark walleye fishing out of Manitoba’s Wekusko Falls Lodge. We explored some of the backcountry lakes by going down old logging trails on snowmobile. Insane action for golden Canadian walleye that kept us up fishing all night.

Classic location where we set up on the break line or basin edge in front of an incoming stream. We caught fish on a variety of lures including Tikka Minos and Leech Flutter Spoons but the key was to charge up the glow often. We go over the gear necessary for overnight fishing in temperatures that were about 30 below zero.

There is some tremendous fishing opportunities for the ice anglers who like to explore and Wekusko Falls Lodge is the perfect base camp.
