In a cozy bed, so soft and warm,
Lie cats and tomcats, safe from harm.
On pillows plush, they dream away,
While kittens frolic, night and day.
The tomcat purrs, a gentle sound,
As kittens leap and bound around.
Their tiny paws, so light and quick,
Play games of chase, a joyful trick.
The mother cat, with watchful eyes,
Keeps her kittens from surprise.
She curls around them, snug and tight,
Protecting them throughout the night.
As moonlight casts a silver glow,
The kittens’ play begins to slow.
They snuggle close, in furry heap,
And soon, like tomcats, fall asleep.
