I went to Scotland’s wild island. The Isle of Jura is a remote gem in Scotland's Southern Hebrides. Situated on the west coast near Islay, it's the eighthlargest island in Scotland, yet it's sparsely inhabited. Around 200 people share this untamed space with a staggering population of 6000 deer, creating a unique blend of untouched nature and wildlife.

The Isle of Jura is known for a few key things: the Jura whisky distillery, deer stalking, trout fishing, and, of course, its stunning landscapes. Up north, you'll find the treacherous coryvrekkan whirlpools and Barnhill, the former residence of George Orwell where he penned "1984."

In this video, I take you along on my journey to the Isle of Jura. Together with my campervan Ernie, we explore this rugged island, giving you a glimpse of its wild beauty and simple charm.
