About a week ago, Paulie came upstairs when Todd and Glamour were downstairs. I took the opportunity to give Paulie some oneonone time and cuddles. The next day, I was adding the camera footage to a video I was editing, and Todd came up and saw it. I think it confused him because he would look at the screen and then looked at the chair where I was sitting in the video. He asked about it, saying What Pets? The day after that, he said Cuddle Paulie, and I thought he was asking me to give Paulie Cuddles. Several days later, Paulie came upstairs, and Todd chased him back down, which he had not done in almost a year. Then he said Help No Pets Pets All Done. I believe he was asking me not to pet and cuddle Paulie anymore. We then had a long talk about it.
Todd is a 7yearold neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 59 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”.
