I replaced my assistant with AI! While I've mostly see myself as a "cool nerd" on Youtube, it finally hit me that AI & automations have real economical and societal impacts as many jobs will be wiped out.

I've read the stats about how many jobs AI will replace, but it never 'hit home' for me. When I had to jump on a call to tell someone that a bot is now taking over their job... the power of this technology finally became real to me.

While most of my videos are technical tutorials, I couldn't help but spend a good part of the last 2 weeks thinking about the seismic shift that is already happening in the labor market and whether UBI will have to be implemented.
