Skaya went boating for the very first time! It was such a new and exciting experience for her (especially since she’s one of those odd huskies who actually enjoys water)! And of course, it’s well known that Skaya’s a bit (okay, a lot) of a drama queen. So, I certainly did expect some of her typical antics when taking her on this boat trip. However, I didn’t realize she would spend so much of her boating time vocalizing with some ducks – or rather, yelling at them!

Well, at least she wasn’t trying to eat them…

…right?

Do you think Skaya had a fun time going on a boat for the first time ever? What other future experiences should we try out together next?


ATTENTION: *Please ensure your dog is wearing a lifejacket while they are on a boat, especially if they are not wellexperienced with water. * Skaya did not wear a lifejacket due to my own lack of due diligence at the time. While Skaya is a good swimmer (and the water was not deep nor was the boat fast), I do not think it was a wise choice not to bring a lifejacket for her. If we were to redo this experience over again, I would absolutely ensure that Skaya is wearing one.
