Mitch Gallagher sits down with studio design legend Russ Berger and acoustics expert Gavin Haverstick for this interview at Sweetwater's GearFest 2016.

The recipient of eight TEC awards for acoustics and facility design, Russ has more than 2,500 design projects to his credit. He is particularly proud of his work with Sweetwater, including the design of the recording studios and the lecture/performance hall; acoustics, sound isolation, and noise control for the music store expansion; and design of the production facility for the You Tube Channel.

Gavin Haverstick is the owner of Haverstick Designs, a fullservice acoustical consulting firm specializing in architectural acoustics. His degree is in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University with a focus in robotics. Gavin has done work for clients all over the world such as: Ringo Starr, Coldplay, Michael Jordan, Disney Pixar, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and others.
