How to make shimmering metallic watercolours with just two ingredients

This video accompanies my blog post on how to make shimmering, metallic watercolour paints using just mica and gum Arabic. You can also add a drop of glycerin for a paint that is less likely to crack and rewets more easily.

About 4 minutes in, there's an example of how mica powders and gum arabic form a nonNewtonion fluid as they only turn to liquid when you hit it or slam it down on the table.
