The Farm At South Mountain in partner with VermiLove of Phoenix, AZ show how to create a simple worm composting bin from scratch. There are several steps to creating this worm bin. The simple instructions to create a worm bin are in the video and below:

1. Look for a shady spot.
2. Rake area to level ground.
3. Gopher proof the bin with hard wire cloth (1/2 in).
4. PreDrill holes into the wood.
5. Lay paver brick stones onto ground. (Keep the middle open for ventilation).
6. Use 332 drill bit to reinforce sides.
7. Use two screws in each panel to reinforce.
