Sokka's character arc in Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of my absolute favorites. He goes from sexist, immature, and impulsive to mature, confident, caring, and selfless in a brilliant, gradual manner that other shows would do well to learn from. His growth in maturity, masculinity, and leadership is simply incredible.
