Join Kenny of All Trades on a North Shore adventure with Mandi, exploring the woods and cooking a delicious fireside meal. Theres no truck camping this weekend, but we experience the beauty of nature and tasty campfire cooking with us!

Mandi and I had an excellent weekend in Grand Marais. I wanted to get out a tour video on the camper, but life got in the way. We headed out early Sunday morning. For some reason, I decided to throw the Gopro in the truck with the computer and drone. Sunday night, I was feeling bad thinking about how there was not going to be a video. We were watching Naked and Afraid on cable, neither Mandi nor I have regular TV at home, so it was cool to see regular TV shows. It got me thinking.....I asked Mandi if she would like to have lunch somewhere in the Superior National Forest, and she was game! Monday morning, we hit the thrift store in Grand Marais and picked up some bare essentials to cook over the fire.
I stopped at a trail head 20 minutes into the forest, and we started walking. After a little over an hour of hiking, we came across this little campsite. I hope you enjoy the video and spending time with us this weekend.
