I hiked to Avent Cabin located on Jake's Creek Trail near Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP). The last time I hiked here, my old GoPro 5 kept shutting off in one section of the cabin. It would record for 23 seconds and then shut off. Finally after about the 6th attempt, I was able to finish recording. I didn't think anything about it. I thought it was a just a technical issue with the older model GoPro that day. However, I had a couple of people comment on that video that the cabin was supposably haunted. I also had a couple of people tell me they had heard strange noises there. I didn't experience anything odd today, but I'll let you be the judge. If you hike to this cabin or have hiked it before, let me know if you have experienced anything.
