Sailing Adventures in the Virgin Islands | Family, Repairs, and Stunning Beaches
Join us as we navigate the ups and downs of life on the water in the Virgin Islands! This week, our genoa sail tears, leaving us scrambling to get it repaired in St. Thomas. With the help of some amazing fellow sailors, we manage to fix our watermaker and generator just in time for a special family visit.
After picking up my sister and her family near Lindbergh Bay, we get everyone settled on board and set sail for St. John. From raising the sails and hitting Christmas Cove for some pizza at the iconic floating restaurant, to catching mooring balls at Honeymoon Beach and spending a funfilled day building sandcastles, snorkeling, and hiking, the adventures just keep coming.
The kids spot incredible marine life, and we even manage a fun adultsonly night out in Cruz Bay with friends from nearby boats. As the week wraps up, we soak in the beauty of Maho Bay, snorkel with turtles and stingrays, and finally set off on a smooth sail to Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands.
