This afternoon, Caron was out exploring the perch and ledge. Newman flies in and lands on the ledge perch and he moves closer to Carson briefly before leaving. Carson is looking out over his shoulder when he loses his balance and slips off the perch and drops 200 feet to some bushes below the nest. Carson has been spotted in the foliage below the nest and heard. Both Newman and Michelle are watching out for him as they did for Hamilton and BurrD when they both fell out of the nest box in 2017. It took them over a week to be able to fly and return back up the nest so hopefully Carson will be able to do the same (You can check my playlist for GSB 2017 to see all the video on that season!)
