Bible teacher Derek Prince points out that God’s primary purpose in redemption is a personal relationship with each of the redeemed. The primary requirement of God is to hear God’s voice and keep His covenant. God gives us authority to rule, He gives us His power in our hands.

God has destined us to be Kings and Priests (1 Pet. 2:9; Rev. 1:5–6)
A. Kings rule (Col. 1:13; Rom. 5:17; 2 Cor. 5:21)
1. Fourfold identification is path to the throne (Eph. 2:4–6)
a. Dead with Jesus
b. Buried with Him
c. Resurrected with Him
d. Enthroned with Him

The kingdom is only for priests (1 Pet. 2:5)
1. Ministry of priests: to offer sacrifice

Jesus, through the Spirit, offered Himself to the Father
D. Resurrection
The Father, by the Spirit, raised Jesus from the dead
E. Pentecost
Jesus received the promise of the Spirit from the Father
