French Prime Minister Michel Barnier warned lawmakers that the government is at risk of collapsing as soon as this week due to a potential noconfidence vote. Farright leader Marine Le Pen is set to join a leftwing coalition to try to topple Barnier. It would then be up to President Emmanuel Macron to appoint a new prime minister, although there is no constitutional deadline for his decision. Caroline Connan reports.
