Frank J. Macchia, Professor of Theology at Vanguard University, was formerly the president of the "Society for Pentecostal Studies" and editor of "Pneuma: The Journal of the Society for Pentecostal Studies." He is the author of many books, including "Baptized in the Spirit: A Global Pentecostal Theology" (2006) and "Justified in the Spirit: Creation, Redemption, and the Triune God" (2010). In this interview, Dr. Macchia examines the history of the doctrine of justification, offering a fresh perspective that emphasizes the Holy Spirit's role in justification.
