As we move into our 40th year of operation, we thought we'd take a look back on some of our most dramatic rescues!

In this video, originally included in Wildlife SOS series 8, Simon and Sara, our former vet nurse, were called out to rescue a fox that had become trapped on a bank roof. With a 200ft drop to the ground below and no obvious way of getting down, the team were a little lost on how to deal with it!

Luckily, the bank allowed Sara to open one of their windows, giving the fox a vital escape route...
