Marc Garneau made history in 1984 when he became the first Canadian to fly in space. Garneau also served in Trudeau's cabinet from 2015 to 2021, first as minister of transport, then as minister of foreign affairs. Garneau says Liberals ‘still have some time’ to turn polls around if they focus on the issues, like cost of living and housing.
