Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Indiafirst" policy and the "Make in India" initiative at an investment forum in Moscow. The Russian leader acknowledged New Delhi's efforts to ensure a stable environment for growth. The Russian President also expressed willingness to establish manufacturing operations in India. "The Indian government, under the Prime Minister's leadership, has been creating stable conditions, driven by a policy of putting India first. We believe that investing in India is profitable," Putin said. He also urged for greater cooperation among the ninemember nations of the BRICS bloc to support the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
