This episode finds us saying a bittersweet "goodbye" to our Airstream Classic that served us well for four years. But, it also has us saying a cheerful "hello" to our new Oliver Legacy Elite II, that we hope will be the best tool for our next chapter and serve us well for many years to come.
We clean SeeMor inside and out, remove all our belongings and pack up our gear into a Uhaul trailer with some bumps along the way. SeeMor meets his new owners and becomes Gracie before driving off and heading out on new adventures. We wish them safe travels and wonderful journeys.
Homeless, we rent an AirBnB for a few nights and enjoy the comforts of the Garden Cottage. With time to unwind and recharge, we take walks throughout the neighborhood, take care of some chores, and find time to spend an afternoon in Pensacola's lovely downtown area. We had hoped to do more in P'cola, but chorin' kept us busier than planned and Murphy butted in to cause us to deviate from our original plans. After our short, but comfy stay, we were back on the road, Uhaul in tow.
We made it to Hohenwald, TN, and finally got to meet our new addition. Piccolino (Italian for Little One) quickly named himself by virtue of his diminutive size. We got a walkthrough and taught about all his systems, then spent the weekend living in one of the RV spots on the Oliver property while we moved in and shook out a few newcamper wrinkles. Oliver was great to work with and quickly made the minor repairs/adjustments needed before we hitched up and headed back west. See you on the road!
