What is life like at the highest altitudes, way up in the tallest mountains? That's what ecologists are trying to find out when they study the ARCTIC TUNDRA BIOME. This is a cold, dry place (although sometimes there's snow). Only plants and animals with very special adaptations can survive here in these harsh conditions. In this video we'll learn more about this unique place, including the climate and meeting a few of the native flora and fauna (that's ecologist speak for plants and animals).
