Since spending a handful of years with a 1961 Studebaker Hawk project in my life, I have developed a real appreciation for these orphaned classics. While they don't quite have "honorary Mopar" status (as enthusiasts often allow for AMC products,) they are in the same expanded universe and you've got to love an underdog. So when I had the opportunity to buy this last year 1966 Studebaker Champion, I jumped on it. Of course bringing a project car home is easy. The immediate question was... what do I do with it? And when? And where do I put it when I'm done? In today's video, I'll try to figure those things out, while taking a deep dive into late Studebaker history.
Oh, also, it's been a long time since I did this, but for science I'd like to know if people actually read these verbose video descriptions. I put an almost laughable amount of time into them. If you did, drop a "Yeehaw!" in the comments.
