My friend Austin and I run into some trouble while flying on the VATSIM network when our sharedcockpit Airbus A320 setup malfunctions while descending into Ft. Lauderdale Int'l (KFLL). Austin had flight controls when he experienced a sudden game crash ("fatal error" message) at which point I was stuck in a descent unable to control anything in the cockpit. ATC inquired if we were declaring emergency but I gave it some time and the controls finally transferred back to me, at which point I regained the aircraft and continued the approach myself. It's not your typical "emergency" situation, but it was an interesting sequence of events nonetheless. Thanks for watching! (MORE BELOW)
