Dida is an allfemale percussion band that plays samba reggae, a music genre from Bahia, Brazil. Filmed in August '08 on the street outside Dida School of Music, a nonprofit organization that teaches music and dance for free to poor women and children of Salvador. Didá performs every Friday night at 9pm at Praca Tereza Batista in Pelourinho, Salvador.
